A direct review link takes customers straight to the box where they type their review, with no hunting around Google Maps. You build it from your Google Place ID. Here is how.
Step 1: Find your Place ID
- Open Google’s Place ID Finder (search for “Google Place ID Finder”).
- Type your business name or address into the search box.
- Select the correct listing. Your Place ID appears next to it.
- Copy the Place ID exactly, with no extra spaces.
Step 2: Build the review link
Use this format and replace the last part with your own Place ID:
https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID
Step 3: Test it
Open the link on your phone. It should open a review screen for your business. If it shows the wrong business, recheck the Place ID.
