You can re-program your NFC card yourself in a couple of minutes with the free NFC Tools app. If you ordered from us you can also send your business name and address and we will set it up before it ships. Here is the DIY method.
Before you start
You need your review link; see how to create it.
Step-by-step
- Install NFC Tools from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and open it.
- Tap Write.
- Tap Add a record.
- Choose Custom URL/URI (best compatibility; avoid “Contact” and other types).
- Paste your full link, starting with
https://, with no spaces before or after. - Tap OK, confirm it is the only record, then tap Write and hold the phone against the card (top centre on iPhone, middle back on most Android phones).
- Test it: close the app, wake the phone and tap the card. Your review page should open.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing happens when you tap Write: fully close and restart the app.
- Red exclamation mark: try again up to three times; make sure the link is under 256 bytes and there is only one record.
- Phone does not detect the card: remove metal phone cases, hold still for a full second, and confirm NFC is on (Android).
- Still stuck? Use the Read function in NFC Tools to check what is on the card.
Updating later
Repeat the same steps to overwrite the old link. Learn more about how these cards work.
